Foster

Fostering is such an amazing way to help an animal in need if you can’t commit to adoptions. We match you with an animal that will suit you, and you provide love and care until they find a home, or just for a short period of time. If you are short on spare cash we can also help supply everything you need to care for the animal.

Foster Casper

Casper would love to go to a nice quiet foster home that he can relax in while he awaits adoption. He takes a few days to warm up to you but then he is all about the head bumps and butt scratches. He will need regular brushing, but is otherwise very healthy for a 10 year old.

He needs a foster home that has:

  • No young children.
  • No dogs.
  • Preferably no other cats but he may be ok with a very chill, quiet cat.

Foster Gingerbread

Gingerbread is a stray mother cat who has just weaned off her babies early as she was teaching them to be fearful of people. She is a lot more relaxed without them but is still very defensive and doesn’t like people approaching. She will hiss and spit but will allow you to calmly reach into her crate to replace her food, water and litter. She needs someone who has the time and patience to sit with her and build a bond where she trusts people.

She needs a foster home that has:

  • No young children.
  • Other cats are fine but she isn’t a fan of dogs.
  • A lot of patience for her.

Foster Adele and Mr Gerald

Adele and Mr Gerald are two strays-turned-pets that are waiting to be adopted. They would love a homely place to wait for their forever home. Adele is a bit shy but Mr Gerald is a real sweetheart. After a few days Adele becomes a massive smooch.

They need a foster home that:

  • Is willing to allow prospective adoptive families to come for meet and greets (upon appointment).
  • Is able to give them a nice quiet space for the first few days or so to allow them to settle.
  • Has a nice quiet lifestyle without lots of loud noise or disruptions.
  • Preferably no dogs but they may be ok with a very relaxed, quiet dog.

Foster Crunchie

Crunchie is a gorgeous young rabbit who needs more love and attention while she waits for adoption. She would love to be fostered with one of her sisters, and would be fantastic for kids to foster to learn how to care for rabbits and get her used to kids.

She needs a foster home that:

  • Has time to commit to handling Crunchie for a minimum one hour per day.
  • Space for both inside and outside areas.
  • No dogs that may try to harm them. Rabbit safe dogs are fine!
  • No undesexed male rabbits.

Foster Mihos

Mihos is a very fresh-to-pet-life feral cat, who is still getting used to the concept of being safe and warm indoors. He needs a very understanding home that will give him plenty of time to come out of his shell. He tolerates little pats and chats, but usually won’t move about with people in the room. He eats well, and is up to date with vet work now.

He needs a foster home that has:

  • No other pets that can access him.
  • A nice small room, like a bathroom or laundry, that he can live in.
  • Plenty of patience and understanding.

Foster Tabitha

Tabitha is a stray mother cat who was so stressed upon capture that she neglected her babies, who we are now bottle feeding. She is not aggressive towards people but will bolt and hates people coming near. We know that in the past people have managed to gain her trust but it’s a slow process. Due to her running away habit she will need to be contained in a small area such as a crate so you can get close enough to start to build that bond of trust with her.

She needs a foster home that has:

  • No young children.
  • Other cats are fine but she isn’t a fan of dogs.
  • A lot of patience for her.

Foster Twirl

Twirl is a gorgeous young rabbit who needs more love and attention while she waits for adoption. She would love to be fostered with one of her sisters, and would be fantastic for kids to foster to learn how to care for rabbits and get her used to kids.

She needs a foster home that:

  • Has time to commit to handling Twirl for a minimum one hour per day.
  • Space for both inside and outside areas.
  • No dogs that may try to harm them. Rabbit safe dogs are fine!
  • No undesexed male rabbits.

Foster Snickers

Snickers is a gorgeous young rabbit who needs more love and attention while she waits for adoption. She would love to be fostered with one of her sisters, and would be fantastic for kids to foster to learn how to care for rabbits and get her used to kids.

They needs a foster home that:

  • Has time to commit to handling them for a minimum one hour per day.
  • Space for both inside and outside areas.
  • No dogs that may try to harm them. Rabbit safe dogs are fine!
